The Roger Williams Park Zoo new Rainforest incorporated several new exhibits. Satchell Engineering & Associates designed the Life Support Systems for the River Otter exhibit, Flamingo exhibit, Sunken Garden Stream and Anaconda exhibits. In addition, the otter exhibit incorporated a waterfall feature.
The River Otter has both underwater and above water viewing, while the remainder exhibits have above water viewing only. The LSS process included sand filtration, temperature control, ozonation and/or chlorination.
