Monterey Bay, CA
The shores of Monterey Bay are renowned for hosting a rich ecosystem and serving as a hub for ocean-related research, teaching, and policy organizations. Among these institutions, Moss Landing plays a significant role, featuring a laboratory that collaborates closely with UC Santa Cruz.
Robert, as part of the team involved in this project, took on the responsibility of designing the sea water intake storage and distribution systems for the laboratory. These systems are critical for providing a controlled and sustainable supply of seawater for various research and experimental purposes.
Robert’s design would ensure the efficient intake of seawater from Monterey Bay, while also incorporating storage facilities to accommodate the laboratory’s needs. The distribution system would then deliver the seawater to different areas of the facility, enabling researchers and students to carry out their studies and experiments effectively.
