Baha Mar Resort is a 1,000-acre Resort development in the Cables Beach area in Nassau, Bahamas. Satchell Engineering & Associates were responsible for designing the LSS treatment system for multiple tanks holding fish, rays and turtles. The LSS is completely hidden within the project development and includes a recirculation system with bio filtration (nitrification), sand filtration, carbon filtration, ozonation, de-ozonation, automation, aeration and deaeration. Satchell Engineering & Associates was also responsible for the design of a sea water well system to supply the life support systems with saltwater makeup water.
Robert investigated the use of saltwater vs. freshwater where applicable throughout the project water systems. He assisted with the re-use water systems and coordination required for system make-up and discharge requirements including storm water re-use systems. See Photo Gallery
