Cleveland, OH
The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s Tiger Passage is a 15,500 sqft exhibit home to the zoo’s two Amur tigers. The exhibit features a deep pool and smaller wading streams for the tigers to enjoy.
Satchell Engineering & Associates supported Cleveland Metroparks Zoo with their efforts to expand the new Tiger Passage to be five times the size of the old moated, grotto-style exhibit. We designed the aquatic Life Support System for the water features throughout the exhibit. The filtration is designed to increase water clarity and increase comfort for the animals. The new exhibit features four different interconnected habitat areas for the tigers to roam. See Photo Gallery
