We are excited to announce the opening of the newly upgraded Elephant Valley exhibit at the San Diego Zoo, Safari Park! This exhibit opened March 5th, 2026, to the public, featuring Satchell Engineering & Associates’ newly designed pools and LSS filtration system on the West side of the exhibit. The East side pool also received an upgrade, running on its own LSS to provide coarse filtration for this pool. You can read more about the grand opening on the Safari Parks news page.
