Downtown Aquarium houses the endangered Sumatran Tigers exhibit. Satchell Engineering & Associates designed the aquatic Life Support System for the water features within the exhibit. The exhibit was designed to reflect the journey of the Indonesia River which would include other animals such as Asia arowanas, rainbow fish, along with the Sumatran Tigers. A main focal point of the exhibit is the underwater viewing of the tigers along with large sea otters. Visitors not only get to see the critically endangered Sumatran tigers in the above water viewing but also get to see them play underwater in the clear waters.
