John Ball Zoo’s Entry Valley contains their Black Swan exhibit, a habitat home to two majestic black swans. This 1,500-gallon freshwater exhibit has one main pool with above ground viewing for guests and designed for the swans and their natural behaviors.
Satchell Engineering & Associates designed the aquatic Life Support System for this exhibit. The system uses a fine filtration system consists of vertical sand filters and pumps, UV sterilization, and chlorinators.
