Oklahoma City Zoo contracted Satchell Engineering & Associates to perform a site evaluation of the current aquatic Life Support Systems for their Noble Aquatic Center. We evaluated a number of different exhibit within the exhibit that were the Sea Lion show pool, the Pinniped exhibit, and other freshwater and marine species exhibits. The purpose of this evaluation was to see what pieces of equipment could be reused for future expansion plans and which were in need of replacement.

Once on site, we performed external evaluations of the equipment and collected staff testimonies to determine the remaining life span of the equipment. With the observations, we were able to determine which pieces of the equipment within the systems needed replacement, devise plans for future proposed improvements, and provide cost estimates for these improvements.
