Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, HerpAquarium: Hellbender, a back of house holding facility that consists of 176-gallons of freshwater split between eight tanks. This system uses a fine filtration system that consists of biofilters and pumps, bag filters, skid controllers, reverse osmosis systems, UV sterilization, heat exchangers, and electric heaters.
