Denver Zoo, Sea Lion Habitat has a total of six pools, an upper and lower level pool meant for guests enjoyment and four holding pools. Satchell Engineering & Associates designed the aquatic Life Support System for the exhibit that consists of perlite filters, vertical sand filters, protein skimmers, saltwater mixing, ozone disinfection, off-gas destruct, chlorinators, and heat exchangers.
