SeaWorld Orlando, Shark Encounter Renovation, built in 1979, is a 550,000-gallon saltwater exhibit in need of upgrades within their aquatic Life Support Systems. Satchell Engineering & Associates designed the denitrification process for the exhibit that consisted of protein skimmers, denitrification sulfur filters, and calcium carbonate processes.
