SeaWorld San Diego, Wild Arctic: Polar Bear is a retired exhibit at the aquarium. Satchell Engineering & Associates designed the upgrades for the saltwater backwash recovery system used in the exhibit that consisted of vertical sand filters and backwash recovery tanks.
