The Florida Aquarium’s Coral Care Complex is a center focused on the restoration and care for coral in order to improve the health of the Florida Reef Tract. This center has a variety of different tanks designed to keep the coral healthy and allow the researchers to perform tests to improve these restoration practices.
Satchell Engineering & Associates provided construction support to the Coral Care Center. We designed shop drawings for their saltwater piping loop, their freshwater piping loop, and their chilled water piping loop. This support was provided to ensure the efficiency of the water flow through the system to guarantee proper function of their tanks.
