Satchell Engineering & Associates was contracted to create a Concept Design for the Sunken Palace park in Saudi Arabia. The park would consist of multiple exhibits such as Dolphin interactions, ray exhibits, shark encounters, salt and fresh water snorkel experiences, touch pools, and countless other aquatic adventures for guests to enjoy. This expansive design would consist of over 15 millions gallons of both fresh and saltwater exhibits.
Satchell Engineering & Associates created the concept design for the aquatic Life Support Systems for all the aquatic exhibits for Sunken Palace. These systems utilized a fine filtration system that would consist of sand filters and pumps, deaeration towers, ozone disinfection, chlorinators, vacuum hose systems, and heat exchangers.
