Butler Discovery Gardens recently opened their new project Wanderwood Gardens. This 3-acre immersive garden and playground will allow visitors to enjoy the whimsical nature of the gardens and inspire connections and creativity. Some of the featured areas in the gardens are the Wandering Waters with jump jets for young children to play and explore, the Snail Trail Plaza with a granite sphere water feature placed atop a large snail with a slime trail tracing its path, and the Botanical Pond with various aquatic plants and stepping stones carving a path through the pond.
Satchell Engineering & Associates designed the aquatic Life Support Systems for water features within this immersive playground. Each of the water features within the different areas of Wanderwood Gardens are run on their own Life Support Systems. The systems use a filtration system that consists of cartridge filters and pumps, UV sterilization, chlorinators, and packaged pH feeders. See Photo Gallery.
