Spectrum Brand Aquiculture is a commercial grade hatchery focused on the raising of fish embryos and fry. This facility cares for and breeds different species of fish that are then distributed to many aquatic and pet care subsidies across the country.
Satchell Engineering & Associates performed a hydraulic review of the aquatic Life Support Systems for the hatchery and created shop drawing to improve the hydraulic issues found in the system. The system included the well water supply, hatchery, two spawning rooms, and the water reclamation system. With the analysis, we were able to determine that the RO pumps were sized incorrectly for this system and our shop drawing worked to resolve this issue.
